When I was a teenager, I was thrown from a horse and I landed on my head. Years later, while attempting a long distance bicycle ride, both of my hands had become so numb, I was unable to finish the ride. An MRI of my neck was performed and the results confirmed two herniated discs, one herniation so severe that it was pressing on the spinal cord. The images confirmed the herniations were due to an old injury.
Rather than surgery, I opted to try chiropractic first. I was so impressed with the results of the chiropractic care, that I decided to become a chiropractor myself. I graduated with a PhD from Palmer Chiropractic College in 1994 and have since found such satisfaction in treating and helping the thousands of patients I've treated with problems ranging from back and neck pain, headaches, dizziness, hip pain, leg and foot numbness to even organ dysfunction.
Years later, I still have success being personally treated on a regular basis, not only for the past neck problem, but also other conditions I've experienced: back pain, acid reflux, hip pain. I love that chiropractic has saved my life.
